We remembered when HITOSHI DOI-SAN made some note-worthy comments on ITOH-SAN as well as one of her own personal quotes! We figured it would be a great addition to our ARTICLES but before we add it we wanted to post it as news for you to view! Enjoy!

HITOSHI DOI ON IKUKO ITOH

Itoh Ikuko's art style has very fine and delicate lines in the characters. The episodes she supervises usually have remarkable consistency in the character art. Ms. Itoh was promoted to the position of the character designer when Sailor Moon S started. It is more than likely that the fine character design for Ten'oh Haruka and Kaiou Michiru in the TV series was by Ms. Itoh's hands.
A specially interesting piece of work by Ms. Itoh is the last part of episode 45. "I thought if the four Soldiers were just drawn like ghosts, it would have been too much of a laugh, so I drew them on illustration paper, cut them out, and pasted them on cels. These cels were then superimposed over other cels. That gave them a transluscent look, and kept the feeling of flesh for the four."

LOVE DISSENTION hits #7 on GOOGLE we are so happy that we are making an impact at our new home! We haven't hit the Yahoo engine yet, but we are going to soon! Here's hopin!

On another note, we are getting some major media underway. We just finished collecting the SAILOR MOON SERIES! So expect some clips showcasing ITOH-SAN'S WORK. We are also sending of for MAGIC USERS CLUB! We are very excited! So stay tuned!

UPDATED: We got our gallery up and running! We uploaded the LD/DVD covers of SAILOR MOON, PRINCESS TUTU, MAHO TSUKAI TAI for you guys to view! Please contribute any images you may have, it would be greatly appreciated! We want to provide the ultimate resources for LOVE DISSENTION.
