
Like all animators,
ITOH-SAN started out with a
"classic animation" style. Round, arched eyelids, straight-forward features,
ITOH-SAN'S was simplistic but still stood out. She even used
"sketch detail" to give a storybook feel or ghost feel as in
EPISODE 45 of
BISHOUJO SENSHI SAILOR MOON.
ITOH-SAN used this style throught the
"CLASSIC" season of Sailor Moon.
During her tenure of the
R Season ITOH-SAN began to explore her own animation style. Keeping her classic animation, she began pronouncing her features as well as adopting a dark, edgier feel to the look (i.e. EPISODE 68).
Taking on
CHIEF ANIMATION and
CHARACTER DESIGN during the
S & SUPERS seasons were defining points for
